- Creating a Presentation
You must click the ‘Create a Lesson’ button after logging in. You have the choice of starting from scratch or importing an existing Google Slides or PowerPoint presentation.
You need to choose Start from Scratch if you’re beginning from scratch. Add content to a slide after deciding on its arrangement. Next, by clicking the “Ask a Question” button and choosing the kind of question you wish to include, you can add interactive inquiries.
- Presenting a Class
You have to click the ‘Start Lesson’ button for your lesson to begin. Your students will need to present you with a ticket in order to join your session on Joinpd.com. You can quiz the kids as you go through the slides and see how they answer.
- Assessing what students feedback
There are several ways to read student comments on Joinpd. The ‘Overlay’ mode applies all of the class responses on one slide to rapidly summarize them. The “Grid” mode shows the responses in a grid format so you can view each one separately. Scrolling through the responses is possible with the ‘List’ view, which is perfect for comments with lots of text.
- Recording and review sessions
After you’ve completed your presentation, you can save the session. You can subsequently go back and review each slide and response because it archives everything. Go to the dashboard’s ‘Sessions’ tab to view a stored session.
- Providing an assessment
You can use Joinpd.com to offer detailed comments. Just pick a student’s response, give it your assessment, and hit “Send Feedback.” The next time they join the session, students will be able to see the feedback.
- Giving homework assignments
You can also assign homework or administer assessments on Joinpd.com. As before, prepare a presentation, but choose “Assign Homework” above “Start Lesson.” Give your students the task code and the deadline. The task can then be completed on their own schedule.
